At Rosebell Kennels we usually have about 2 litters per year. The litters are born in the Model Train room which is next to the family room. This way they can be checked on often, and the socialization process started even before their ears and eyes open. Once they are walking and need more space they are moved into the family room. House-training to go outside is started as soon as they can wobble out the door. We spend a lot of time with our babies. This helps us to learn about each puppy's temperament. We are then able to match the puppy's temperament to the home that is best suited for it. Our girls don't have very large litters so most puppies are spoken for even before they are born. If you wish to add a Rosebell Poodle to your home it is a good idea to contact us and put your name on our waiting list.

By the time a puppy leaves our home for yours, he/she will have been to the veterinarian, and will have had at least 1 sets of vaccinations. The puppy will also have been groomed several times (bathed, clipped, and scissored). Puppies will be used to following a person around (and tripping them :-), in preparation for leash training. We start working on come - just as soon as the puppies can walk. We also send you home with a Puppy Care video which has instructions on how to take care of your new Poodle.

We sell pet/companion puppies with a Non-Breeding CKC Registration
and a requirement to spay or neuter.

All of our dogs have their annual CERF eye exams. They have all been normal. The boys have also had their Hips done as well as any other Health testing recommended. Our poodles have been very healthy. Breeding Poodles that have good health, and great temperaments, as well as being beautiful, is very important to us. In each litter we try to improve on the parent's qualities as well as the overall quality of the Miniature Poodle breed.

When choosing a Poodle puppy it is very important to select carefully. Poodles are quite a long lived breed so you will have this member of your family for a while. Of course health and temperament are the most important. These traits can be evaluated by viewing the parents of your prospective puppy. In addition to producing these traits we try to select parents that are going to produce puppies that are correct to the Poodle Breed Standard. This means that although your puppy may not be heading toward the show ring - they will still exibit correct Poodle temperment and looks. Having a Poodle with a beautiful plush coat, little coal black nose and eyes etc. will add to your enjoyment.  Our dogs are also very athletic. They love to run with each other in our large yard. All of our Miniatures can run as fast as our Standard Poodle. Playing with toys is also inherited by our puppies. When everyone is going outside to do their thing, each one has to run and choose a toy to take outside with them.

There is nothing quite like having a Poodle puppy to lay at your feet, or in your lap as you work at the computer.  They give you kisses and play with you each day. Each one is special as they become  a member of your family.
